IE: problem with description field for events

Description
With IE8, in the management interface, in the General Settings section, sometimes it becomes impossible to edit the description field.
How to reproduce:
-With IE8 or IE7 (indicows' one does the trick), got to an event's General Settings section.
-Click on the existing description.
-Click on the description's "edit" button.
-Click on the description field to edit it. The cursor does not appear. Typing does not make text appear either.
Also, the existing description looks different before editing in IE8 / IE7 than in Firefox. There is a big top and left padding.
