Usability issue with Room selector - free text

Description
Right now, when one writes down a room name instead of selecting it from the list, (s)he may be unknowingly breaking the behavior of the "Connect to room" button. The button will expect a normal room (referenced by ID) to be selected, whilst a free text name will just be ignored (and the feature disabled).
A possible solution could be auto-completing the room name, and making it clear (using an icon?) that a corresponding room has been found.
