Description
Hello,
Is it possible to export the contribution description field to the PDF timetable?
Because in case, that abstracts management is used, the PDF timetable can contain abstract content, but in case of manually created contributions (without linked abstract) there I can't see option to export contribution description to the PDF.
Example 1:
Contribution https://indico.cern.ch/contributionDisplay.py?contribId=15&confId=238603
The "event" does not use abstracts management. All contributions are created by administrator.
Timetable PDF contains only title of the contribution.
Example 2:
Contribution https://indico.cern.ch/contributionDisplay.py?contribId=27&confId=160737
Linked abstract: https://indico.cern.ch/abstractManagment.py?abstractId=27&confId=160737
Timetable PDF contains title and (if selected) content filed of the abstract.
I think, that "description" field of the contribution is better to display in PDF because:
1) abstract cannot be changed after is accepted, so the "description" can be more actual than "content"
2) it will allow to display pdf with "description" including contributions without linked abstract
If needed, please, forward this email to the developers.
Thank you

Hello,
I have observed a similar problem in version 0.99 of indico.
I am one of the managers of a Conference: https://indico.ific.uv.es/indico/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=744 We are trying to get the PDF timetable with the option "Print ABSTRACT CONTENT of ALL the contributions" enabled, but indico refuses to do it: https://indico.ific.uv.es/indico/conferenceTimeTable.py/customizePdf?confId=744&showDays=all&showSessions=all
I haven't managed the call for abstracts of this conference, but I'm pretty sure that the other managers used the toold provided by indico to do it since I can see them in the administrative interface.
Hope this helps
