Git and Windows

• Install Git-1.6.3.2-preview20090608.exe (​http://code.google.com/p/msysgit/)
  • in the part "adjusting your PATH environment, choose the second option.
• Use the new Git terminal when you want to clone, pull, commit, etc.

Attention: You should set autocrlf to false, otherwise you'll probably have unmodified files marked as modified:

git config core.autocrlf false
