Update automatically the affiliation

Dear Indico Support,

In the recent months more and more people are complaining that their Institute affiliation is not correct in Indico.
This happens after they have changed an institute, and even though in both CMS and HR databases everything is updated.

I know that people can update their institute themselves by logging to indico > clicking on their name in the right upper corner > then Modify.

Anyway, my question is: should everybody do this themselves each time they change an institute? Or does indico do this automatically, but sometimes it just "loses" some updates? Maybe it can be fixed somehow?
