Conference timetable with custom style: missing menu to change style

Description
In a conference where the manager has chosen a "default style" different from "parallel", if the user goes to the display page for the timetable, he can no longer change the layout with which to view the timetable.
Example:

versus
http://indicoprev.cern.ch/conferenceOtherViews.py?view=nicecompact&confId=55201
(note the "view" select box at the top in indicoprev).
Also, if the manager has selected a style different from "Parallel", conferenceTimetable.py always redirects to conferenceOtherViews.py, and even tinkering with the URL's "view" parameter, there seems to be no way to display the conference's timetable in the nice "Parallel" style. Changing "view" to "parallel" or "Parallel" does not work.
