iCal export is not valid for some events/categories

I think this might be similar to this bug:
https://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=27443

I can't import the iCal feed for the CERN Joint EP/PP Seminar into
thunderbird/lightning, because there seem to be some invalid characters
( ^M ) used in some cases in the file.

  • Encoding for the chair's info wasn't checked when exporting a conference to iCal
  • fix #255
