Description
[Suggestion from Samuele Kaplun]
My suggestion was indeed about the overall usability of this feature: who really need absolute scheduled alerts that are preserved upon cloning? Absolute time are definitively useful when one want to setup an alert well ahead of time. E.g. our meeting is on Monday at 11:00, however I would like to set up an alert on Friday at 9:00 so that people have the whole Friday to fill up the minutes. Now, of course, I can compute the difference with enough passion: if I am not mistaken it should be 3+12+24+24+11=74 hours in advance... at least, I hope... But you see? It was difficult. So that's why I picked up the absolute time. What if Indico allowed the user to enter absolute and relative alerts, while storing them always relative, so that upon cloning, Indico is doing the magic for the user?
