Where is "indico_initial_setup" after 1.1.2 installation?

Description

I managed to do "easy_install indico" on a RHEL6 host. The instructions say the next step is to run "indico_initial_setup". I can not find any such file.

I did find this:
MaKaC/consoleScripts/indicoInitialSetup.py
Is that what I am supposed to run?

Thanks for your help.

Isn't it in your default bin directory? Normally it goes in /usr/bin/indico_initial_setup

D'oh!

For some reason it wasn't found in my PATH, and I guess the 'locate' database hadn't been updated yet.

Off topic: I find this ticketing system very odd. When I create or update a ticket, I get an email. But when you (or someone in your organization does), I don't get an email. I have to check the website for updates. This seems backwards.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, I received that notification.
Is it a setting in Trac?

  • Resolution set to fixed

Yes, just a simple setting in the config of trac. Thanks for the report!
